With the help of a Peace Corp Partnership Grant, the people of Potrerillos, El Paraiso, built a new library. It was inaugarated on November 6, 2004 and — to a local Peace Corp worker’s great surprise and honor — the villagers named it Biblioteca Cassie Chandler.

To Cassie’s great surprise and honor, the town decided to name it Biblioteca Cassie Chandler. Potrerillos continues to use and enjoy their first-ever library.
